The intimate vessel is staffed by friendly, knowledgeable, English-speaking Costa Ricans, with an American Exploration Leader. All cabins are air-conditioned with private baths and showers. Delicious International Cuisine with Central American Specialties is prepared daily using only the freshest fruits, vegetables, meats and fish.

Air-conditioned interiors and breezy outside deck space, including a covered Sun Deck bar, make this ship perfect for exploring Costa Rica and Panama’s tropical waters. Walk down steps to the stern Zodiac launch platform for quick access to beaches and islands without docks.

Our Pacific Explorer will enable you to travel almost anywhere. She is equipped with Zodiacs for beach landing on remote shores. She carries kayaks as well for those who wish to explore on their own.

When you’re on board, you’ll spend most of your waking hours in the spacious public areas. Unlike many other ships, on the Pacific Explorer have open guest access to the bow area, giving you the best views. And of course, all the lounges and dining rooms feature large view windows, as do most of our staterooms.

Each day of your voyage will be different, but some things will be wonderfully consistent. Breakfast, for example, will always s give you delightful options, whether you prefer to sip your morning coffee out on deck or enjoy it at a leisurely pace in the dining room. And dinner is a delight. From soup to dessert, it’s homemade and delicious.

Relax in the lounge (by the second evening, you’ll treat it like your own living room)… rest your elbows on the rail while your search the water for whales..
