My last cruise had a dress code that called for “Evening Casual” in the dining room. To me, that meant shorts. But not to the onboard dining staff. They also didn’t mean jeans. They meant slacks and a nice shirt. Luckily, I packed that, but not really enough. So, to avoid some quick, on-board shopping, check their definitions of “Evening Casual” or ask the Top Cruise Club Member Concierge.

Its the first time I heard that shorts are evening casual.
One thing that was disappointing on my recent Celebrity cruise to the South Caribbean and I noted in my survey - is the lack of dress sense around the ship in the evenings.

If people want to walk around in their shorts and flip flop sandals in the evenings then they should cruise on a party line ship where there is no dress code.

I dont think its unreasonable to expect the men to wear a nice golf shirt and dress pants with closed shoes - “SHorts and JEans ” I don’t think so!!!!

I wish Celebrity would enforce the dress code in the evenings.
